I now have two jobs, the one at GAME which gives me enough hours to cover the rent and the one at University which now covers everything else. The Burton’s shirt and tie combo which I bought especially for the GAME interview has just gone two for two landing me the University job. This demonstrates that either the shirt/tie have magically job acquiring powers or, I’m good at interviews. I start the job next week so hopefully everything will run smoothly.
In other news my Zombie game is still in development and I promise I post screenshots when they is some.

Well the hand in date came and has now gone, so what of the dissertation? Well I handed something in, whether or not it resembles a dissertation is up to the markers. Well as you can probably tell, that happened over a week ago and now is the time to get on with the real work. I am currently working on my own project which is going to be a cross between The Creatures that Weren’t Quite Dead and the board game Zombies. I’ll post screenshots when I get something substantial done on the project, hopefully within the next couple of weeks.
In other similar news, we (The Calibre team) should be moving into Spark house within the next two weeks. This means getting down to the real business of making games and will hopefully give us a great environment to design and development our ideal games over the coming year.
In other news, I’ve bought a couple of games for my Xbox 360 using my newly acquired GAME staff discount, Just Cause, Fight Night 3 and Saints Row. Been playing through all of them and I’m relatively happy with my purchases.
